What data do we collect to enable a smooth QuickSet Cloud experience?
When you activate your device we (automatically) detect which devices are connected to your Set Top Box or other AV equipment having access to QuickSet. The QuickSet technology that is placed onto your device will allow you to properly pair with all devices (TV/Audio) which are connected.
We will only be able to store your IP-address and technical device information on the devices connected to your Set Top Box or other AV equipment having access to QuickSet. We do not store any other data about you nor do we need such data. Our only purpose is to have the devices connect properly and provide your remote control with the correct Infra-Red code set or other similar control protocol. The QuickSet technology does not ‘track’ you or your actions. We are able to detect defects and gather information about it.
What do we do with the information we gather?
We obtain your information in accordance with the relevant privacy legislation. This means, amongst others, that we only collect and store (and use) data that we need to achieve our purposes. Such purposes are listed below:

All of these purposes fall under our legitimate interests.
